light-signals.com is a personal photo blog of Rasesh.
My photography can be described as an on-and-off relationship. I do have my passion within, as long as it is lasting. And then i need to be completely immersed into my sussounding; not being distracted by the camera. But each and every picture has a story to it, that holds a sacred space in my heart.
All pictures are taken and owned by me. I put them here for my own reflection of wonderful times or to show it to friends and family. I carefully select and balance the pictures, but do not alter them in any other way than color-grading.

Meine Fotografie kann man als eine On-and-Off-Beziehung beschreiben. Ich habe meine volle Leidenschaft darin, solange es andauert. Und dann tauche ich ganz in Moment ein, ohne mich von der Kamera ablenken zu lassen. Aber jedes einzelne Bild hat eine Geschichte, die einen besonderen Platz in meinem Herzen einnimmt.
Alle Bilder sind von mir gemacht und gehören mir. Ich stelle sie hier ein, um mich selbst an wunderbare Zeiten zu erinnern oder um sie Freunden und Familie zu zeigen. Ich wähle die Bilder sorgfältig aus und bringe sie ins Gleichgewicht, verändere sie aber nur durch Farbkorrekturen.

Light is a primary tool for perceiving the world and interacting with it for many organisms
Licht ist für viele Organismen ein wesentliches Mittel, um die Welt wahrzunehmen und mit ihr zu interagieren
Light Signals are a way of communication and interaction between different organisms. Since I am sharing my personal view on this world here, I find it suitable to use the light-metaphor here. Especially, because this site focusses on photos (no pun intended).
Fun Fact: In Germany, a traffic light is formally called a light-signal, if translated word-by-word.
Lichtsignale sind also ein Weg der Kommunikation und Interaktion zwischen verschiedenen Organismen. Da ich hier meine persönliche Sicht auf diese Welt teile, finde ich es passend, die Lichtmetapher hier zu verwenden. Vor allem, weil der Schwerpunkt dieser Seite auf Fotos liegt.
